Voigtlander Vitoret

This is one of the most beloved models of my collection because of the sentimental value it has, it is the camera that belonged to my parents and that was used to shoot my childhood.

Voigtlander Vitoret

The Voigtländer Vitoret is a telemetric rangefinder camera 35mm film manufactured by Voigtländer & Sohn AG, Braunschweig, Germany and produced between 1961-1971.
The Voigtländer Vitoret series was a very successful range for consumers, low-cost cameras.

The Vitoret were cheaper than the Vito range by the choice of lenses used and system of shutters which had a simpler internal design. It is estimated that have been produced approximately 700,000 units.

Many Vitoret cameras are still functional and able to provide good results.

Voigtländer Vitoret DR that is the model that I have and come with a photometer of selenium that is still functional, it has a 50mm lens lanthar to F2.8

The display was 1: 1 very light and has a shutter speeds ranging between 30 and 300 not forgetting the “B” Bulb.

They are very robust  cameras and are for sale on eBay for very economic values.

The advantage is that does not use any batteries, but be aware if the selenium photometer still works.
